Add a Gradebook Column using Collect Offline Setting

This guide will walk you through setting up an additional gradebook column, with or without a rubric, using an assignment setting called "Collect Offline."

Sometimes there are assignments that do not require a student to complete questions or submit a file. Use this guide to create an assignment using the setting "Collect Offline." Using this setting allows faculty to create a Grade Center column and attach a rubric, but the student doesn't need to submit anything on their end.

**NOTE: When using collect offline, be cognizant of the due date selected, and use the date selector on student submissions to mark the work as submitted prior to the due date. Otherwise, assignments will be marked late.**
