Student Activity Log

Overview

This guide covers the Student Activity log, which is available in the Blackboard Ultra Gradebook. 

What is the Student Activity Log?

The Blackboard Student Activity Log allows instructors and administrators to review an individual student's course activity from the past 120 days, including assessment submissions, drafts, and associated IP addresses, to support academic integrity reviews, dispute resolution, and student engagement monitoring.

The following events can be found in the log:

  • Course Access
  • Assessment Started
  • Assessment Draft saved
  • Assessment Submitted
  • Assessment Auto-submitted
  • Discussion Access
  • Discussion Draft saved
  • Discussion Edit
  • Discussion Reply
  • Discussion Response
  • Document Access
  • Journal Access
  • LTI Item Access
  • SCORM item Access
