This guide is for program directors (PD) and associate program directors (APD).

What can this guide help with?

This guide will review the Enroll As tool in Blackboard, and how to self enroll in a Blackboard Ultra course. 

What is the Enroll As Tool and how does it work?

The Enroll As tool is a privilege granted to program directors and associate program directors. This tool:

• Allows users to search and enroll in any Blackboard Ultra course.
• Allows the user instructor access to any course they have enrolled in.
• Will disenroll the user automatically after the course is exited. This will prevent the user from appearing in evaluations.

Requesting the Enroll As Tool

This is granted by Blackboard administrators, and can be requested by any PD or APD by sending a request to [e-mail].

The role can be assigned to:

• Program Directors
• Associate Program Directors
• Content Developers (who are not full time faculty)
• Faculty (upon review and approval)
