What does this guide help with?

This guide helps determine if an application or software should for Teaching Learning, and Innovation (TLI) department should be added to the university software tracker. Not all software/products in use fall under TLI. 

What software should be tracked?

Generally, software/applications used for teaching or within a course. Here are some examples of software that can be submitted:

  • Software used as instructional material in a course
  • Software/applications used for creation of course content by digital learning team. 
  • Software Application accessed by students/instructors for completion of assignments in a course
  • Other types of software as needed

Here are some examples of software that don't need to be submitted:

  • Software/application for one person for a course or other purpose
